Using the service

Tiny Desk AI lets you create short AI videos from photos. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use it.

Content Standards and Prohibited Categories

To ensure a safe, respectful, and lawful platform, all users must strictly adhere to our Content Standards and Acceptable Use Policy. You are strictly prohibited from uploading photos, generating videos, or utilizing the service for any of the following six categories:

1. Sexually Explicit and NSFW Content: Any depictions of nudity, pornography, sexual acts, genital exposure, adult entertainment, or sexually suggestive or erotic media.

2. Violence, Blood, and Gore: Content depicting physical violence, bloodshed, severe bodily harm, mutilation, weapons, terrorist activities, torture, self-harm, suicide, or cruelty to animals.

3. Hate Speech and Harassment: Content that promotes violence, incites hatred, disparages, defames, intimidates, bullies, or harasses individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, age, nationality, or sexual orientation.

4. Child Exploitation and Inappropriate Content (CSAM): Any content involving minors under 18 years old, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or child endangerment. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy against any harm to minors.

5. Deepfakes, Impersonation, and Deception: Uploading photos of celebrities, political figures, public individuals, or non-consenting third parties to create misleading deepfakes, impersonate others, commit fraud, or disseminate deceptive and defamatory material.

6. Copyright, Trademark, and IP Infringement: Uploading images, logos, or materials that infringe upon any third-party copyright, registered trademark, right of publicity, patent, or proprietary rights without explicit written authorization.

Violations and Enforcement: Any content violating these standards will be deleted immediately. Accounts involved in violations will be suspended or permanently terminated, and all associated credits will be forfeited without refund. Serious or unlawful violations may be reported to relevant law enforcement authorities.

AI Foundation Model Disclosure

Tiny Desk AI utilizes the Alibaba Cloud Wan 2.1 Video Foundation Model (Wan Video AI) as our primary generative video technology. User-supplied portraits are processed through multi-character spatial neural synthesis to create 15-second concert meme videos with synchronized acoustic audio.

Your content and consent

Only upload photos of yourself or of adults who have given you permission. Do not upload photos of minors, celebrities or public figures, and do not use the service to harass, impersonate or deceive anyone. We may remove content and close accounts that break these rules.

Generated videos

You may use the videos you create for personal and social media purposes. AI output can contain mistakes; review a video before sharing it. Videos are labelled as AI-generated: keep that label, say the video is AI-generated when you share it and never present it as real footage of an event.

Reports and removal

Anyone can report content through our report page. We review reports and remove content that breaks these terms or someone’s rights within 48 hours. Removed photos are blocked from being uploaded again, and accounts involved in serious or repeated violations may be closed without a refund of used credits.

Credits and payments

Credit packs are one-time purchases. Credits have no cash value, and credits from packs do not expire while the service is operating. Payments are processed by our merchant-of-record partner, whose terms also apply.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available but provide it as is. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before a claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
